Fundació Puigvert is an institution with a long history in clinical practice, teaching, and research in urology, nephrology, andrology, and reproductive medicine.

It is a tertiary level specialized center with its own services in clinical psychology, quality and safety, radiology, laboratory, etc., with multidisciplinary collaboration with the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (HSCSP).

We are a highly specialized center with different reference and specific units: Renal Transplantation (RT), General Renal Disease Diagnostic Unit and the Specific Hypertension (HTA) Unit, Hereditary and Glomerular Diseases, Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, nursing consultations of the Chronic Renal Unit (ERCA) and HTA and Prevention of Kidney Damage.

The recognition of this high specialization is endorsed by the granting of accreditation as a XUEC, CSUR, and ERN center in hereditary and glomerular diseases and renal transplantation. We are the promoters of the living donor renal transplantation program in Spain, accredited by the Catalan Transplant Organization (OCATT) and the National Transplant Organization (ONT), for kidney transplantation, both from deceased and living donors. As well as the trust of users with an annual activity (2023 data) of 4500 general nephrology medical visits, 800 HTA, 950 hereditary diseases, 2300 glomerular diseases, 9000 RT, 2600 Day Hospital, 230 conservative treatment, 120 patients in the Chronic Hemodialysis Program, among others.
