Nephrology Units
We provide pioneering and high clinical excellence assistance in the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of kidney pathologies.
We are pioneers of the live donor kidney transplant program in Spain, and today, we are a reference center, accredited by the Catalan Transplant Organization (OCATT) and the National Transplant Organization (ONT), for kidney transplantation, both from deceased and living donors.
We continuously monitor more than 200 patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and have an advanced dialysis unit and a specific unit for hypertension (HTA), diabetes, and prevention of kidney damage. We also care for over 1,500 patients with rare or complex kidney diseases that require highly specialized medical assistance.

Diagnosis, planning, and monitoring of all renal replacement therapies, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, both in hospital and at home. The multidisciplinary team adapts the therapy to the needs of each patient, with state-of-the-art technology and therapeutic education programs to promote autonomy and quality of life.
