We take care of your kidney with a quick intervention designed to relieve pain as soon as possible.
We are experts in the integral approach to kidney stones (kidney stones and renal colic), with specific pathways for private visits, urological emergencies, and referrals from other centers.
Kidney stones
and renal colic:
when to act quickly
Kidney stones (renal lithiasis) are very common and can cause renal colic with severe pain in the lumbar or abdominal area, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or blood in the urine.
In the event of a colic or repeated episodes, it is important to assess the situation with an expert team to relieve pain, avoid complications, and prevent new stones.
How we will assist you:
Quick and personalized diagnosis
Our goal is to relieve pain and resolve the problem as soon as possible, while taking care of your kidney function.
To do this, we have:
Imaging tests (ultrasound, radiology, CT scan) to locate the stone and assess its size and position.
Blood and urine tests to detect infection or associated abnormalities.
Urinary Lithiasis Laboratory to analyze the type of stone and conduct metabolic studies to help prevent recurrences.
If you have colic or already know you have kidney stones, we can prioritize your case.
Call 93 416 97 07 or leave us your details and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Main procedures:
minimally invasive technology
We select the most appropriate technique based on the size, location of the stone, and your general condition, always seeking the most effective solution with the least impact on you.
Extracorporeal lithotripsy (LEOX)
Breaking stones with shock waves from outside the body, so they fragment and are eliminated through urine, usually with sedation and without incision.
Ureterorenal endoscopy and laser
Accessing the stone through natural pathways (urethra and ureter) using flexible endoscopes, and fragmentation with state-of-the-art lasers to remove it precisely and minimally invasively.
Percutaneous kidney surgery
Indicated for large or complex stones; performed through a small incision in the skin to directly access the kidney and fragment and remove the stone.
Conventional surgery
Reserved for very selected cases where minimally invasive techniques are not possible.

Comprehensive approach: relieve today, prevent tomorrow
Our work does not end when the stone disappears: we also work to prevent them from reappearing.
In the Urinary Lithiasis Unit, we study the type of stone using specific analysis techniques (morphoconstitutional study) and conduct personalized metabolic studies.
We suggest lifestyle changes and, if necessary, medical treatment to reduce the risk of new stones and protect long-term kidney function.
If you have had more than one episode of kidney stones, it is worth doing a complete study to prevent them from recurring.
We help you design a tailored plan to take care of your kidneys.
