Sexual Health and Male Infertility
Fundació Puigvert is a national and international reference center in the comprehensive approach to sexual health and male infertility.
Our multidisciplinary team, a pioneer in Spain in clinical and surgical andrology, offers advanced diagnosis and treatment of all male sexual dysfunctions (erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, hypogonadism, Peyronie’s disease, chronic genital pain) and male infertility, including a complete study of seminal quality, genetics, and the most innovative assisted reproduction techniques.

Our Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Unit is a reference in the prevention, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment of STIs in both men and women. We offer rapid diagnostic pathways, innovative treatments, and personalized advice to reduce the risk of complications and improve overall sexual health.

How do we work on STI prevention?
Active prevention
and health education
Information programs, personalized advice, and education are offered to promote safe sexual habits, including condom use, vaccination (such as for the human papillomavirus), and early detection of risk factors.
Rapid
and specific diagnosis
Fast-track care circuits for suspected STIs, with access to state-of-the-art diagnostic tests (PCR, serologies, cultures) and quick results, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.
Multidisciplinary
approach
Information programs, personalized advice, and education are offered to promote safe sexual habits, including condom use, vaccination (such as for the human papillomavirus), and early detection of risk factors.
Personalized
and updated treatment
Therapeutic protocols based on evidence and international guidelines are applied, tailored to each infection (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, HPV, herpes, etc.), with clinical follow-up and subsequent controls to ensure healing and prevent relapses.
Screening and
couple follow-up
The study and treatment of sexual partners is recommended to break the transmission chain and prevent reinfections.
Coordination with other specialties
When necessary, collaboration with urology, gynecology, internal medicine, and social services is carried out to ensure a comprehensive response in complex or vulnerable cases.
